This week’s activities and learning opportunities based on the Early Years Foundation Stage will include the following:
ACTIVITIES
Indoors – art and craft penguins, polar bears and Inuits (Eskimos), creating Arctic and Antarctic lands in trays with ice and shaving foam, plastic animals, books (fact and fiction), ice blocks with hidden treasures
Outdoors – Igloo play lodge, dressing up clothes with hats and scarves, Arctic and Antarctic pictures, ‘fishing rods’, pretending to be Arctic and Antarctic animals
