This week’s activities and learning opportunities based on the Early Years Foundation stage will include the following:

ACTIVITIES

Valuing ourselves, others and different ways of life: self portraits (paint/collage), books – ‘My great big family’, ‘All kinds of people’, ‘What I like About Me’, ‘Oscar Needs a Friend’, school forms – ‘What I can do by myself’ and ‘What I might need help with’, fire station small world play with dressing up uniforms (fire fighters, doctors, nurses, police)

Helping and caring for others: role play corner – fire station with fire fighter uniforms and helmets (also, doctors and nurses, police), fire station small world play, emotion puppets – songs and discussion,
