Dear Parents

Autumn welly walk and sponsored treasure hunt, Thursday 7^th October, morning

As promised, further details about our visit to Lydiard Park. If your child does not usually attend on a Thursday morning, we would love him/her to join us although it will be necessary for you to stay throughout.

As it is too long a walk for many of the children, we ask you to meet us at Lydiard Park, in front of the cafeteria, at 09.15 – a slightly later start time than usual so that older children can be dropped off at school first. We will then stay at the park for the whole session so that we can have plenty of time to hunt for autumn treasures – this will be in the form of a sponsored treasure hunt to give us an opportunity to raise funds as we continue to develop our outdoor area, and a sponsor form is therefore attached.   

We will also be stopping to have a teddy bears picnic – please provide a picnic (including a drink) and their favourite teddy bear. Hopefully, we will also have time for a game of footie and some parachute play.

We will finish at 11.50 at the children’s favourite place, the play area next to the cafeteria.

Please could you sign and return the attached to give your consent to your child attending. Adult helpers will be needed to ensure we meet our policy of 1 adult for every 2 children during outings. Of course, it would be good to see as many of you as possible on the day, as this is a really good opportunity for us all to get to know each other. Please therefore indicate on the slip if you are able to join us.
